Improving the Technology for Product Finishing-and-Strengthening Treatment in the Course of Repairing or Manufacturing

Abstract
Problems of improving the technology for the finishing-and-strengthening treatment of components in the course of their repair or manufacture, including the designing of multifunctional tools, are considered. Graphical dependences for optimal feeding Sopt on surface roughness Ra in the course of combined treatment for the case of different values of the cutter radius r, as well as graphical dependences for the optimal velocity Vopt on the optimum feeding Sopt for the case of different values of cutting depth t are presented. Comparative data for changing in the parameters of economic efficiency owing to the use of the combined treatment of a component by means of joint boring and rolling instead of a sequential treatment are presented.
