Bacterial Drug Resistance

Genetic control of different pathways involved in formation of drug-resistance in bacteria is presented. Possible molecular mechanisms of integration of “new” genes into the genomes by horizontal gene transfer are discussed. This review may be valuable for physicians, veterinarians, and researchers engaged in bacterial evolution.
