Abstract <p>The authors describe the implementation of an algorithm for constructing a variable-structure stabilizing controller for a switched interval linear system with slow, unobservable switching. A neural network is proposed as an observer of the closed-loop system’s active modes. Results are presented from modeling the resulting stabilization system.</p>
