Abstract <p>The problems of information retrieval of Russian-language documents are discussed. The absence of such documents in information retrieval systems leads to their loss for the scientific community. The created “Acoustics” Information Retrieval System (Russian-Language Sources) is briefly described. As of today, data from approximately 900 periodicals, books, and conference proceedings for 2000–2024 (a total of over 70 000 documents) have been downloaded into this system. Most of them are Russian-language printed and electronic scientific journals of the Russian Federation and the CIS countries published in Russian that may contain materials on acoustics. For the main (subject-based) journals, the depth of retrospective is much greater. Attention is drawn to the full-text websites of the journals <i>Uspekhi Fizicheskikh Nauk</i> (Physics-Uspekhi) (<a href="http://ufn.ru/">http://ufn.ru/</a>) and <i>Akusticheskij Zhurnal</i> (Acoustical Physics) (<a href="http://www.akzh.ru/">http://www.akzh.ru/</a>), as well as to another website, “Acoustics” Signal Information (<a href="http://akinfo.ru/">http://akinfo.ru/</a>)”, which publishes current information on acoustics.</p>
