Web Archives: Classification and Methods of Organization

The idea of web archiving as a way to preserve web content for future researchers has not lost its importance in the 21st century. Methods of organizing web archives are considered, and their classification according to territorial basis, creator organization, subject matter, types of web content, methods of preservation, and conditions of provision is proposed. It seems that classification according to selected grounds will allow the use of web archives more effectively in solving research problems.
