Characteristics of Information Flow in Scientific Research

Abstract
Information flows play a key role in the modern scientific world and provides the basis for collecting, processing, storing, transmitting, and using information. The article provides a list of criteria that, in our opinion, information must meet to support scientific research, examines the problems of managing information flows in science, and proposes approaches to their optimization.
