Abstract

This article presents the results of comparison of the spectral density of MT field components in a wide frequency range and solar activity. The calculations used the MTS data obtained by a group of employees of the Geophysics Division, Department of Geology, Moscow State University, and Geoelectromagnetic Research Center, Schmidt Institute of Physics of the Earth, Russian Academy of Sciences, in the central part of the East European Platform during the period from 2020 to 2024. Measurements were carried out both in summer and in winter using the same type of equipment. All MT data were processed in EPI-KIT. The resulting correlations are important for taking into account the forecast of solar weather when planning field work.
