The Vendian Magmatism of the Ufaley Block (Central Urals Megazone of the Middle Urals)
摘要
Abstract
The first isotope data on the age of the metagabbro-trondhjemite complex are presented. The Kenchur complex composes small massifs in the central part of the Ufaley block, which is located within the Central Ural Zone. This complex was identified for the first time in this composition (metagabbro, amphibolites, and metatrondhjemite granofelses). A detailed and comprehensive description of the Kenchur Complex is provided, as well as geochemical, mineralogical, and isotope data for the rocks of this complex. Based on these data, the contrasting composition and Early Vendian age of the complex, which was previously considered Late Riphean, have been confirmed.
