摘要

Abstract

Natural silicates are promising sources of divalent cations, which are necessary for the mineralization of CO2 in the form of carbonates. The kinetics of natural talc dissolution was studied in flow-through reactors at 25°C in solutions of hydrochloric, citric, and oxalic acids at pH 3. An increase in the rate of talc dissolution in the presence of organic ligands of citrate and oxalate by about 3–4 times is characteristic of only the initial stage of mineral dissolution. The stationary rates of talc dissolution were detected ~30–40 h after the start of the experiment and were ~3E–10–16 mol/cm2 s.
