Abstract <p>We study production of sub-GeV axion-like particles (ALP) in atmosphere. Taking into account two ALP production mechanism—in mixing with pseudoscalar mesons and in kaon decays,—we calculate the flux of axion-like particles and discuss potential of the Hyper-Kamiokande experiment in searches for a possible signal from decays of atmospheric ALP.</p>
