Abstract <p>A new method is proposed for constructing analytical models of nonstationary vector fields based on the local version of the linear integral representation method. Variational formulations of inverse coefficient problems are presented for a system of two nonlinear differential equations describing the motion of a charged magnetic fluid. A uniqueness theorem for the solution of the inverse coefficient problem for the equations of magnetohydrodynamics is formulated.</p>
