Scalar Leptoquark and Vectorlike Quark Extended Models as the Explanation of the Muon \(\boldsymbol{g-2}\) Anomaly

摘要

Abstract

The \((g-2)_{\mu}\) anomaly is a longstanding puzzle in particle physics. Leptoquark (LQ) extended models can be the solution to this anomaly due to the chiral enhancements. In minimal scalar leptoquark ( \(\textrm{LQ}^{\textrm{s}}\) ) models, there are only two representations \(R_{2}\) and \(S_{1}\) which can lead to the chiral enhancements. In this talk, we study the \(\textrm{LQ}^{\textrm{s}}\) and vectorlike quark (VLQ) extended models. Besides the traditional \(R_{2}\) and \(S_{1}\) related models, we find three new solutions to the anomaly in the presence of SM quark and VLQ mixings. In these \(\textrm{LQ}^{\textrm{s}}\) and VLQ extended models, there can be new \(\textrm{LQ}^{\textrm{s}}\) and VLQ search channels.
