The Impact of Intrinsic Motion of Partons in Drell–Yan Production at NLO with the Parton Branching Method

Internal (Fermi) motion of partons inside hadrons has been studiedanalysing Drell–Yan pair production at next-to-leading order withthe parton branching method which provides transverse momentumdependent parton densities covering wide region of partontransversal momentum. Also, the dependences of intrinsic motion ofpartons on centre of mass energy, \(\sqrt{s}\) , and Drell–Yan pairinvariant mass, \(m_{\textrm{DY}}\) , are examined.
