Abstract <p>This paper describes the possibility of forming nanofibers from <i>Bombyx mori</i> chitosan and high-molecular-weight crab chitosan (HMWCh) by electrospinning. The structural characteristics of nanostructured <i>Bombyx mori</i> chitosan and crab chitosan are studied by XRD and IR spectroscopy. The possibilities of forming nanofibers and nanoparticles in a solvent are evaluated.</p>
