摘要

This study examined the photocatalytic capacity of TiO2 nanoparticles produced with Fortunella extract as a stabilizing agent for degrading methylene blue dye under UV light. The nanoparticles were characterized through FT-IR, revealing the absorption band for the Ti–O–Ti vibration. Meanwhile, UV–Vis spectroscopy was utilized to calculate the band gap, resulting in 3.25 and 3.16 eV. XRD analysis revealed that the nanoparticles match the anatase phase structure. Methylene blue was degraded by 90% within 50 min.
