摘要

The filament is widely used in 3D printing, particularly in medical implants and devices. This study used a single screw extruder to fabricate a novel Polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA)/nano-Calcium Phosphate (nCaP)/Chitosan composite filament. The optimization of extrusion parameters was determined using the design of experiment. This study aims to develop filament wire from 1.75 mm to 1.80 mm. The PHA/nCaP/Chitosan composite comprises 75% PHA, 15% nCaP, and 10% Chitosan. The biocomposite showed remarkable results when the output filament was successfully extruded from 1.75 mm to 1.80 mm in diameter. Thus, analysis of variance has shown significant results, with the slightest error occurring on the confirmation runs.
