Fiber-felt-reinforced PI aerogel composites prepared by ambient drying
摘要
The strength of the polyimide (PI) aerogel skeleton was enhanced by impregnating quartz fiber needle felt and doping SiO2 micron powder, along with introducing the cross-linking agent 1,3,5-benzotrimonium chloride (BTC). A simple and cost-effective ambient drying method was chosen to prepare fiber-felt-reinforced PI aerogel composites. These composites exhibit low shrinkage (~ 20%), high temperature resistance, and thermal insulation properties (~ 0.04W/mK), making them potentially suitable for industrial and commercial applications.
