Evaluation of a titanium composite to initiate a materials database

An integral identification of a titanium composite was realized by different techniques for determining its characteristics, such as X-ray diffraction, energy dispersive spectroscopy, and microscopies (scanning electron, transmission electron, and atomic force). Also, the activity of various concentrations of this titanium composite, in the solution configuration (0.3–4.5 M) against Pseudomonas aeruginosa PAO1and Klebsiella pneumoniae ATCC 700603 was evaluated, revealing a significant biofilm formation inhibition (85% and 80%) of each pathogen. A titanium composite's properties were determined for initiating a materials sourcing database that is predictive for designing biological and chemical devices.
