Effect of heat treatment on the structure and properties of flexible coatings for ultra-thin glass
摘要
In this paper, ultra-thin glass coated with Bi2O3–B2O3–ZnO-based glass was prepared and its properties were characterized by SEM, nanoindentation and universal experimental instrument, etc. The results showed that the flexible coating retained mechanical properties, with a hardness of 8.3 GPa, modulus of 80 GPa and flexural strength of 261.13 MPa. Heat treatment would affect the mechanical properties of the coating due to the migration of potassium and sodium ions in glass at high temperatures, empirical equations for diffusion coefficients during potassium and sodium ion migration versus heat treatment temperature were summarized.
