Proof of concept for a DIY airtight, heatable, and disposable 3D printed chamber for operando spectro-electrochemistry

In this research, we report a low-cost measurement chamber for spectro-electrochemistry at elevated temperatures. An acrylonitrile butadiene styrene filament was used to print a measurement chamber complete with optical window, hermetic electrical connector, and gas inlet/outlet. A novel thermally insulating mini hotplate was added to the center of this chamber, allowing samples to be heated for operando studies. This chamber is airtight down to six millibar and stable with operation up to 200℃.
