摘要

Magnesium (Mg) matrix composites reinforced by 2D materials including graphene oxide (GO) and boron nitride nanoplatelets (BNNP) were prepared by spark plasma sintering (SPS) technique. The obtained results indicated that the mechanical properties of the composites were improved by adding GO and BNNP. GO demonstrated higher effectiveness in enhancing the mechanical properties of the composites in comparison to BNNP. In addition, the coefficient of friction (COF) and wear rate of the GO/Mg and BNNP/Mg composites decreased compared to pure Mg. The decrease in COF of the composites was attributed to good self-lubricant GO and BNNP and high mechanical properties of composites.
