In vitro cytotoxicity studies of Ga2O3 microstructures on L929 and MCF-7 cell lines using MTT assay

摘要

Considering the therapeutic promise of gallium, its compounds are currently undergoing preclinical and clinical development in different phases. In this work, Ga2O3 microstructures were synthesized using hydrothermal methods followed by calcination at 1050℃. For structural and morphological analysis, x-ray diffraction spectrum and field emission scanning electron microscopy images were used. In vitro cytotoxicity and in vitro anticancer effects of the sample were determined by cell culture imaging and MTT assay method. The studies were carried out on L929 and MCF-7 cell lines. The present study reveals the possibility of extending Ga2O3 for anticancer drug applications.
