AI-Generated innovations: developing intellectual property (IP) protection framework for the digital age
摘要
The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has introduced unprecedented challenges to traditional intellectual property (IP) protection frameworks. This study examines the intersection of AI-generated innovations and intellectual property rights, focusing on developing appropriate protection mechanisms for the digital age. Through a comprehensive qualitative literature review approach, combining literature review, expert interviews, document analysis, and technical system evaluation, this study investigates the current limitations of IP protection frameworks and proposes novel solutions for AI-generated works. The study reveals significant gaps in IP protection mechanisms when applied to AI-generated innovations. Analysis of global IP frameworks demonstrates varying approaches to AI-generated content protection, highlighting the need for harmonized international standards. The study identifies key technical and legal challenges in protecting AI-generated innovations. Based on extensive analysis, this research proposes a new framework for IP protection that integrates blockchain technology, smart contracts, and specialized digital rights management systems. The proposed framework addresses the unique characteristics of AI-generated innovations while maintaining compatibility with existing legal structures.
