摘要

After ideas for a change endeavor have been developed, creating a shared understanding about how to approach the (digital) innovation or transformation content-wise is important. The Change Endeavor Canvas presented in the article supports this task. The starting point are the reasons and objectives of the changes as well as a holistic sketch of the changes, i.e., from business to IT aspects. The Change Endeavor Canvas also considers important context conditions such as the concrete usage of the outcomes/deliverables. The article presents the current state of the Change Endeavor Canvas and the experiences gained through its use in 27 teams. Moreover, a short instruction, inspiration questions, as well as detailed suggestions for the integration of the canvas in a corporate environment (e.g., project management) and for application are presented, allowing for the immediate use in practice. The Change Endeavor Canvas is not focused on a specific company size, industry, or type of changes (e.g., a specific technology), so that it is usable in many change endeavors. At the same time, it should not replace but complement existing instruments, e.g., from project management.
