<p>The challenges of a&#xa0;successful digital transformation while simultaneously considering sustainable management are causing headaches for companies and organizations. The “twin transformation” approach, which aims to leverage the synergy potential between digital and sustainable transformation, is seen as promising in the literature and initial projects. However, the topic of mobility is often given little to no relevance, although synergies with the topics of sustainability and digitalization exist within a&#xa0;business operation. As part of a&#xa0;case study on the Living Lab of the <i>fim</i> Research Institute for Information Management in Augsburg, this article addresses the outlined gap in how scientific findings can be applied in practice on a&#xa0;small scale to jointly promote e‑mobility, digitalization and sustainability in an organizational context. In the Living Lab, which contains unidirectional and bidirectional charging stations for electric vehicles, the use of self-generated solar power is optimized, taking user requirements into account. The results show that intelligent control of charging processes can reduce operating costs and increase self-consumption and self-sufficiency. The article concludes with best practices and recommendations for action to promote the acceptance and use of e‑vehicles in organizations and to support the integration of mobility and energy strategies.</p>
