Mitarbeitende im Fokus – ein angepasstes Reifegradmodell zur Messung der digitalen Transformation im Handwerk
摘要
Nurturing employee well-being has become a crucial factor for employer attractiveness and sustainable business success as labor shortages and succession issues beset the skilled trades sector. Current research shows that employees react differently to changes brought about by digital transformation depending on employee life stages and circumstances. Accordingly, companies need knowledge about the positive and negative factors of digital change processes that impact employees to address these influencing factors early on. Maturity models that help companies with digital transformation provide a way to objectively assess their progress, making it easier to identify and improve areas like employee well-being and openness to change. However, these aspects are inadeqs uately considered in existing models, as such models mostly focus on company-specific aspects of openness, understanding, knowledge, and skills. Employee-oriented aspects at the employee level, which can influence readiness for change, are insufficiently considered. This article contributes new maturity model-dimensions which include the potential of employee well-being. For this purpose, existing maturity models are analyzed and new dimensions with an employee focus are developed. The resulting partial maturity model is being evaluated by a group of experts from the trades sector. The results of the evaluation are critically discussed.
