IoT4H: Datengewinnung und -nutzung für innovative Geschäftsmodelle im Handwerk
摘要
Digitalization offers opportunities and challenges for many industries, including the skilled crafts. In the context of the skilled trades, Internet of Things (IoT) technology plays a key role, as it enables them to collect and evaluate data that was previously not captured. However, the use of IoT technology in the skilled crafts sector has been very limited up to now.
The IoT4H project aims to close this gap by developing a provider-independent end-to-end IoT platform. This platform should enable craft businesses to identify IoT use cases, identify suitable components, set up applications in a user-friendly way and use data profitably. The main focus is on the accessibility of IoT technologies through the development of recommendation and search systems based on machine learning as well as user-friendly visual interfaces and operating concepts. It is crucial that the collected data remains in the possession of the craft businesses. The project shows the identification of suitable IoT use cases, the implementation of real IoT prototypes with craft businesses and the development of the digital portal. These approaches are intended to enable craft businesses to use digitalization and develop new business models.
