Alles für die Schublade?! – Wie Forschungsergebnisse für die Handwerksbranche leichter zugänglich gemacht werden können

Digitalisation and digital transformation in the craft sector have the potential to increase productivity and quality, but they also pose a challenge for craft businesses in particular. As part of the “Handwerk 4.0: digital and innovative” BMBF funding line, specific solutions for the craft sector are being developed and trialled together with crafts companies. The overarching research project “Handwerk mit Zukunft” is responsible for transferring these solutions to the crafts sector and is also investigating its own research questions on changes in crafts businesses, markets and crafts organisations. For this purpose, it develops its own interactive exchange formats and uses qualitative and quantitative research methods. Furthermore, suitable transfer concepts for managers of craft businesses, innovation and technology consultants and inter-company vocational training centres are being developed in order to make the solutions developed in the funding line accessible to the craft sector.
