Unterstützungsstrukturen für Handwerksbetriebe beim Einsatz Künstlicher Intelligenz – Herausforderungen und Strategien von Projektleitenden beim Wissenstransfer

Artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly important in the professional world. It also offers the craft sector the opportunity to make processes more efficient and thus compensate the shortage of skilled workers. This study examines which support structures craft businesses need in order to successfully engage with AI and implement AI-supported solutions. Four semi-structured expert interviews with project managers from craft-oriented transfer projects in the field of AI are used to determine which challenges and areas of application need to be considered. It also highlights which events have proven successful in approaching companies. It is evident that the project leaders are aware of the challenges faced by the craft businesses and actively integrate them into the further course of the project. Consequently, those involved use their own experience, skills and knowledge to develop strategies that increase the transfer capacity and make the transfer a success despite the challenges. Another factor influencing knowledge transfer is the rapid development of AI, which requires strategies to be constantly adapted.
