FlexChain Marktmechanismen: Analyse von Preismodellen und Matching-Modi für einen nachhaltigen Flexibilitätshandel

In the course of the current change in the energy system, characterized by a decrease in conventional energy sources, the increase in renewable energies and rising consumer loads in the low-voltage grid, new intelligent solutions are needed to ensure grid stability. The FlexChain research project presents such a solution: a local flexibility trade between grid operators as the party requesting energy and local households as the party supplying it. This flexibility trading allows the energy consumption of households to be shifted over time in order to counteract predicted grid bottlenecks. Flexibility trading takes place on a platform developed as part of the research project, on which various market mechanisms can be tested. Various price models and matching modes are analyzed and evaluated for this purpose with the aim of determining the respective advantages and disadvantages in the design of effective flexibility trading. In addition to a theoretical analysis, FlexChain also includes a field test lasting several months to test the solution in practice. The FlexChain project stands out from previous projects due to the comparability of different market models.
