Background <p>Sarcoidosis is a multisystemic granulomatosis disease. The clinical picture conventionally includes pulmonary lesions and mediastinal lymphadenopathy.</p> Case presentation <p>We report the case of a labio-jugal lesion in a 50-year-old woman who revealed systemic sarcoidosis. The diagnosis was suspected on the pathology examination. Treatment with systemic corticosteroid therapy led to lasting remission.</p> Conclusions <p>The oral lesion, though uncommon, may be present as the first manifestation of underlying systemic sarcoidosis. The diagnosis is made on a bundle of clinical, paraclinical arguments, the demonstration of noncaseous granulomas, and the ruling out of other causes of granulomatosis.</p>

Background

Sarcoidosis is a multisystemic granulomatosis disease. The clinical picture conventionally includes pulmonary lesions and mediastinal lymphadenopathy.

Case presentation
