Background <p>The American College of Radiology has proposed a risk stratification system for assessment of indefinite adnexal masses on ultrasound, called “Ovarian-Adnexal Reporting and Data System for Magnetic Resonance Imaging” (O-RADS MRI). This system classifies the adnexal masses into six categories according to their risk of malignancy based on the assessment of the solid and fluid portions of an adnexal mass on dynamic contrast-enhanced (DCE) MRI However, in some clinical scenarios the acquisition of DCE-MRI may be a provocation due to its long acquisition time and image post-processing. When considering ORADS 3 as malignant, ORADS MRI yielding 100% sensitivity, 80.8% specificity, 85.7% PPV, 100% NPV and 91.1% total accuracy.</p> Conclusion <p>ORADS MRI score on basis of enhanced non-DCE-MRI had high sensitivity, specificity and accuracy in differentiating benign from malignant adnexal masses.</p>

Background

Results

Conclusion

ORADS MRI score on basis of enhanced non-DCE-MRI had high sensitivity, specificity and accuracy in differentiating benign from malignant adnexal masses.
