Background <p>Wandering spleen (WS) is a rare disease, with fewer than 500 cases reported worldwide. This case series discusses three WS cases from Indonesia, each with different clinical and radiological findings, offering valuable lessons and potential diagnostic challenges for clinicians in managing WS.</p> Case series <p>We present three cases of WS, ranging from a three-year-old girl to a 36-year-old woman. Two cases presented with abdominal pain and a mass, while one was initially asymptomatic. All patients were female. Two cases had both ultrasound and computed tomography (CT) correlation, and one was diagnosed through a CT scan. Two were managed conservatively, while one pediatric patient underwent surgery.</p> Conclusions <p>Wandering spleen is a rare condition with variable presentations. Diagnosis and treatment depend on clinical expertise and individualized assessment, often requiring shared decision-making with patients.</p>

Background

Wandering spleen (WS) is a rare disease, with fewer than 500 cases reported worldwide. This case series discusses three WS cases from Indonesia, each with different clinical and radiological findings, offering valuable lessons and potential diagnostic challenges for clinicians in managing WS.

Case series

We present three cases of WS, ranging from a three-year-old girl to a 36-year-old woman. Two cases presented with abdominal pain and a mass, while one was initially asymptomatic.
