From detection to intervention: nanotechnology-driven precision strategies in obesity management
摘要
One of the worldwide health problems that contributes to metabolic disorders, cardiovascular diseases, and shortened life expectancy is obesity because of systemic adverse effects and individual variability traditional treatments like drug, life style changes and bariatric surgery frequently have limited log time success by providing individualized treatments based on a person’s genetic compositions metabolic profile and p physiological characteristics, precision medicine—especially when combined with nanotechnology—offers a viable avenue for treating obesity by directing medication distribution to adipose tissue and the gastrointestinal tracts nanoparticles improved treatment efficacy by lowering systemic toxicity and increasing the availability of therapeutic agents (e.g., increased absorption in adipose tissue by up to 40%). Research on obesity is greatly advanced by the combination of nanotechnology artificial intelligence and machine learning since in improved prediction models and obesity researched by the improving personalized treatment plan and prediction algorithms not with standings these developments issues including scalable manufacturing, regulatory barriers, and biocompatibility still need to be resolved to guarantees clinical translation further more bio markers based nanosensors and others enhanced detection techniques made possible by nanotechnology enable early diagnosis and monitoring of issues associated with obesity. The review discuss the role of nanotechnology in obese precision medicine, stressing the need for more research to achieve widespread medical use while highlighting current developments in nanodiagnostics and nanotherapeutics.
