摘要

Astroblastoma is a rare tumor with an uncertain origin, primarily affecting children or young adults. A 10-year-old girl experienced headache and vomiting. Contrast-enhanced MRI revealed a well-defined cortical-subcortical mass in the left parietal lobe. Histological analysis confirmed the diagnosis of astroblastoma. Immunohistochemical staining showed that tumor cells were positive for GFAP, S-100, Vimentin, and focally for EMA, but negative for Synaptophysin, SALL-4, and CD117. On further analysis there was gain of chromosome 19 and MN1 alteration was noted.
