摘要
Fish is a nutritious food that provides essential nutrients for excellent health. It is rich in protein, lipids, and minerals like Fe, Ca, Zn, P, Se, F, and iodine, vital for human health. The minerals in fish have high bioavailability, making them easily utilized by the body. Fish-derived lipids, including omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) such as eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), help prevent cardiovascular diseases and support healthy blood pressure regulation. The iron present in fish contributes to hemoglobin formation and helps prevent anemia, while selenium plays an essential role in maintaining proper thyroid function. Calcium and vitamin D in fish help prevent rickets, while vitamin A supports normal eyesight and immune function. This review emphasizes the significance of fish nutrients for human health and recommends promoting the health benefits of fish consumption through increased awareness. Fish is a valuable food source globally, providing essential nutrients and contributing to the economy.
