<p>The 23rd International Symposium on Geo-disaster Reduction (ISGdR2025) was held in Yibin, China, from 23–26 August 2025. This symposium focused on the theme of “geological hazard effects under the coupling influence of internal and external dynamics”. The thematic days on 24–25 August included 9 Keynote Lectures in plenary session and 4 parallel sessions with 24 Invited Lectures, 3 Youth Forums with 47 graduate reports followed by a technical visit on 26 August. This annual symposium provided a stage for academic scientists, leading engineers and students to exchange and share their experiences and research results.</p>
