摘要

In the contribution, we will use a semantic approach to address the problem of dominating complexity in managing large collections of data relating to Cultural Heritage. The article summarizes a method to extract ontologies from large SQL DBs proposed by the Authors in previous work. It shows important experimental results when applying the method to large collections of real-world data. The results were validated by domain experts who were carefully chosen for this purpose.
