Primary cardiac hemangioma: a report of two cases and literature review
摘要
Cardiac hemangiomas (CHs) are extremely rare tumors. Despite their benign nature, CHs can lead to serious complications, including cyanosis, arrhythmia, heart failure, hydrops fetalis, or fetal death. While echocardiography provides real-time assessment, CHs may mimic other cardiac abnormalities, necessitating further imaging modalities such as CT or MRI for accurate diagnosis. Treatment typically involves radical resection, even in asymptomatic cases. We describe two cases of cardiac hemangiomas in the atrium, and both patients exhibited an uneventful recovery after a radical resection.
