Background <p>Digital literacy among healthcare workers is crucial for successful integration of technology in health facilities to improve patient access, preventive services, and quality of care. This study aims to assess the associations between digital literacy outcomes with sociodemographic characteristics and technology acceptance constructs among auxiliary nurse midwives (ANMs) in Nepal.</p> Methodology <p>We conducted an online cross-sectional study among 172 ANMs in primary healthcare facilities. Data included digital literacy outcomes (frequency, skills, confidence in using digital technology), socio-demographic characteristics, and technology acceptance constructs (perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, attitudes, social influence, facilitating conditions and anxiety). Simple linear regression analyses were used to examine the associations between digital literacy outcomes and these factors.</p> Results <p>The mean composite scores for digital literacy outcomes were: frequency of use (25.6 ± 5.1), skill (25.1 ± 6.3), and confidence (26.3 ± 6.2). Age, education, marital status and anxiety were significantly associated with digital literacy outcomes. Compared to those aged &lt; 35 years, being ≥ 35 years was associated with lower frequency of digital technology use (β = −3.28, <i>p</i> &lt; 0.001), lower skill (β = −5.79, <i>p</i> &lt; 0.001), and lower confidence (β = −4.78, <i>p</i> &lt; 0.001). Higher education was positively associated with all digital literacy outcomes (<i>p</i> &lt; 0.001), while being unmarried was positively associated with frequency (<i>p</i> = 0.009). Anxiety was negatively associated with frequency, skill and confidence (<i>p</i> &lt; 0.001).</p> Conclusion <p>Digital literacy among ANMs is influenced by socio-demographic and technology acceptance factors. Older age and higher anxiety were associated with lower frequency of use, skills, and confidence, while higher education was associated with more frequent digital technology use, greater skills, and higher confidence. Tailored interventions and training focusing on older ANMs and addressing technology-related anxiety could improve technology use and enhance healthcare delivery.</p>
