Abstract <p>The aim of this in vitro study was to investigate the effect of different solutions on color stability of CAD/CAM provisional materials. One hundred and twenty rectangular specimens of 2&#xa0;mm thickness for each provisional material were fabricated. Four subgroups (<i>n</i> = 10) were obtained from each group. The specimens were stored in artificial saliva, tea, coffee and cherry juice at 37&#xa0;°C for 28 days. Spectrophotometry was used for measuring the color differences (CIEDE2000 [DE00]) before and after each storage. Statistical analysis was performed using 2-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), and Tukey’s HSD test was used for the comparison of mean values (α = 0.05). There were statistically significant differences between materials and solutions (<i>P</i> &lt;.001). There was a significant difference between all groups, among the solutions (<i>P</i> &lt;.001). The lowest change was observed in saliva. When ΔE00 values were compared, there was no difference between Teliocad and Vitacad (<i>P</i> =.751). Overall, Temdent immersed in coffee showed the highest color change (2.74 ± 0.15) and the lowest values were calculated in Vitacad stored in saliva (0.36 ± 0.02).</p> Clinical Implications <p>CAD/CAM interim restoration materials can be used safely in the oral environment in terms of color stability.</p>
