A retrospective analysis of influence of the establishment of intelligent hypertension diagnosis and treatment center on blood pressure data management and treatment compliance of patients with hypertension in Sichuan, China, and its clinical value in accurate diagnosis and treatment
摘要
This research is aimed to retrospectively evaluate the benefits of competent hypertension diagnosis and treatment centers in managing blood pressure data and therapy concerns in hypertension patients in Sichuan, China.
MethodsDuring the period between February 2023 and February 2024, a total of 102 hypertensive patients who had been diagnosed and treated at our hospital were retrospectively reviewed and assigned to either a control group (CG, received traditional community hypertension management) or an observation group (OG, managed by the intelligent hypertension diagnosis and treatment center) based on their historical management.
ResultsThe OG demonstrated a substantial reduction in both systolic and diastolic blood pressure values, accompanied by a significantly improved rate of blood pressure control. Medication adherence, as measured by the Morisky Medication Adherence Scale (MMAS-8), and hypertension-related knowledge mastery were also markedly enhanced in the OG following the intervention. Additionally, scores on the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) were significantly lower in the OG post-intervention. Furthermore, notable improvements were observed across all domains of quality of life—social relationships, physical health, psychological well-being, and environment—in the OG. Patient satisfaction reached 98.04% in the OG, which was significantly higher than the 84.31% reported in the CG.
ConclusionThe establishment of the Intelligent Hypertension Diagnosis and Treatment Center has proven effective in enhancing the management of blood pressure data and improving treatment compliance among hypertensive patients in Sichuan, China. These improvements were accompanied by significant positive effects on patients’ emotional well-being and overall quality of life.
