<p>This paper deals with the determination and comparison of the horizontal load-carrying capacity and stiffness of wall panels in the system of a lightweight frame structure with OSB (oriented strand board) sheathing. Wall panels with different types of load-carrying sheathing were loaded with a horizontal force to monitor their deformation response to the load. The results of experimental tests were subsequently compared with analytical standard calculations and numerical models. Experimental tests demonstrated the suitability of using some sheathing methods in practice. Numerical models showed good agreement with measured data.</p>
