Abstract <p>The article presents the concept of a new research pattern for studying the co-influence of the economy and climate change of Russian regions. Novosibirsk and Kemerovo oblasts and Altai krai are creating a Siberian Climate Hub for joint study of the relationship between the economy and climate change based on empirical data and crossdisciplinary approach. By their judgments, the authors rely not only on primary data and regional statistics, but also on expert interviews, as well as comprehensive discussions at the debate platforms of the international Technoprom Forum during 2021–2023.</p>
