Abstract <p>The new species <i>Leucocoprinus</i> <i>rufodiscus</i> is described from Margalla hills national park, Islamabad, based on both comprehensive analysis of morphoanatomical features alongside molecular (ITS) phylogenetic data. We include visual documentation of newly collected basidiomata along with detailed anatomical descriptions. These newly described species are consistently grouped within the genus <i>Leucocoprinus</i> based on molecular phylogenetic analysis.</p>
