Abstract <p>In this study, we described two basidiomycetes, <i>Agrocybe retigera</i> and <i>Chroogomphus mediterraneus</i>, as a new finds for Pakistan, based on morphology as well as molecular phylogenetic analysis of internal transcribe spacer (ITS). Morphological and molecular analyses showed that the Pakistani collections of these species coincide with their respective type specimens. Fresh photographs in their habitat, microscopic features, and detailed descriptions are provided here.</p>
