Abstract

The analytical article critically examines some aspects of the theory of carcino-evo-devo, testing its strength, which is known to be useful for strengthening and improving both new and long-established ideas in the scientific world. A.P. Kozlov, a true alpha scientist, like a powerful actively moving object, created a stream that for decades attracted and carried away associates and like-minded people. I am sure that the participants of this journey not only overcame difficulties but also enjoyed a real scientific search, an exciting adventure in the world of living beings, genes, molecules, cells, and organisms—the fantasy world in the imagination of a scientific researcher, where the knowledge of the real world takes place, as well as the exploration of the unknown, the expansion of our ideas about the living, and the understanding of how this world develops and how a wonderful variety of life arose, including ourselves. In all this, I see the value of A.P. Kozlov’s work and his theory of carino-evo-devo.
