Abstract <p>Using solid-state synthesis in the ZrO<sub>2</sub>–SnO<sub>2</sub>–TiO<sub>2</sub> system with the La<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> and ZnO sintering additives, dense ceramics with a <i>Q</i> factor of 400, a permittivity of 34, an open porosity of 0.3%, a zirconium–tin titanate crystal size of 5–7 μm, and a closed porosity of up to 3% has been obtained. The Zr<sub>0.8</sub>Sn<sub>0.2</sub>TiO<sub>4</sub> dielectric has a sintering temperature of 1350°C, which is 200–250°C lower than the value for the commercial analogs.</p>

Abstract

Using solid-state synthesis in the ZrO2–SnO2–TiO2 system with the La2O3 and ZnO sintering additives, dense ceramics with a Q factor of 400, a permittivity of 34, an open porosity of 0.3%, a zirconium–tin titanate crystal size of 5–7 μm, and a closed porosity of up to 3% has been obtained.
