Composite Materials Based on Polytetrafluoroethylene and Aluminum Oxide Produced by Explosive Pressing
摘要
Abstract
The possibility of formation of composites of PTFE with 5–40% Al2O3 by explosive pressing of powder mixtures is shown. Special attention is paid to the investigation of the morphology, crystal structure, thermal deformation, and other properties of the composites obtained. Regularities of the change in the structure upon compaction of composite mixtures by a shock wave are found, which results in intensification of the adhesion of the filler to the polymer and improvement of the properties of the materials being created.
