Influence of Additive (Mg(OH))2CO3 on Some Fire Hazard Characteristics and Physical and Mechanical Properties of LPPE
摘要
Low-pressure polyethylene was modified with the additive (Mg(OH))2CO3 and the flammability and physical and mechanical properties of the obtained composites were studied. It was shown that the reduction in the fire hazard of the polymer is due to the decomposition of (Mg(OH))2CO3 with the formation of products that change the combustion process of the material, and the change in the physical and mechanical properties is due to the influence of additive particles on its supramolecular structure.
